Stéphane Audiger
Photographer & Writer in Phuket
Established in Phuket in 1996, I spent years creating, writing, and illustrating travel websites such as Phuket.com. After the 2004 tsunami, I began photographing Phuket to help show the world the island’s remarkable recovery.
Over time, photography became a true passion. I have since continued capturing images across southern Thailand — mainly around the Phi Phi Islands, Krabi, and Phang Nga — focusing on hotels, beaches, attractions, festivals, and local events that offer endless inspiration.
Throughout my career, I’ve worked with various camera brands including Canon and Nikon, before finally settling on Fujifilm. Its lighter, more compact equipment is ideal for long photo excursions. I also used a DJI Phantom 3 Pro drone for several years, which has now retired, and I plan to invest in a smaller replacement in 2026.
