Phuket Attractions

There's plenty of things to see and do in Phuket. As the prime holiday destination in southern Thailand, Phuket hosts a fair deal of natural and man-made attractions. Phuket west coast beaches are obviously the first centre of interest on the island, but the hinterland also features splendid landscapes. There are hills covered with lush vegetation and rain forest, large flat lands with ponds, rubber tree and pineapple plantations, in a few words, a large range of sceneries. Less touristy, the east coast of the island features mangrove forest, tranquil beaches, and local fishing villages.
