Central Phuket
Central Festival and Central Floresta: 2 Shopping Malls in One

Central Phuket is one of the largest shopping malls in Phuket. It features two wings: Central Festival and Central Floresta, connected by a convenient elevated walkway.
Opened in 2004, Festival is the original wing and has a more casual, everyday shopping atmosphere, with fashion, sports, entertainment, dining and a cinema.
Floresta, which opened in 2018, has a more sophisticated and luxurious character, with international designer brands, upscale restaurants and major attractions.
Together, the two buildings form one of Phuket's largest shopping and lifestyle destinations, offering more than 800 stores as well as restaurants, entertainment and leisure facilities.

Central Festival
Central Festival is the original and more casual wing of Central Phuket. Opened in 2004, the four-storey shopping centre is designed around a large central courtyard and offers a broad range of shops and services.
On the ground floor, visitors will find fashion stores, a supermarket, beauty and lifestyle shops, as well as various food outlets. The second floor focuses largely on fashion, sports and lifestyle brands, with international names such as UNIQLO, Zara and Jaspal. The third floor has more restaurants and fast-food outlets, while the fourth floor is home to entertainment facilities including the SFX Cinema, as well as various beauty and service businesses. The central area also regularly hosts exhibitions, promotional events and temporary displays.

Central Floresta
Opened in September 2018, Central Floresta was designed as the more luxurious and sophisticated wing of Central Phuket. The building has several shopping levels arranged around a distinctive nature-inspired architectural concept, with tropical greenery and contemporary Thai design elements throughout.
The ground floor is the main luxury shopping area, featuring international brands such as Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Chanel, Hermès, Prada and Dior. The upper floors offer a mixture of fashion, lifestyle shops and restaurants, including several high-end Thai and international dining options. The basement level is particularly interesting for families, as it houses Aquaria Phuket and the AR Trick Eye Museum. Floresta also has Central Department Store and a range of cafés and food outlets, making it much more than a luxury shopping centre.

Summary
Central Phuket is a good destination when you want to combine shopping, dining and entertainment under one roof, particularly on a rainy day or during Phuket's hottest hours. Central Festival is the better choice for everyday shopping, sportswear, fashion and the cinema, while Central Floresta is worth visiting for luxury brands, restaurants and attractions such as Aquaria. The two wings are connected by a glass sky bridge, making it easy to explore both without crossing the road. Allow at least two or three hours if you want to see both sides properly.
Opening hours: both wings are generally open daily from 10 am to 10 pm, although individual shops, restaurants and attractions may have different schedules.
