Nai Yang Beach
A Local-Style Beach in Northern Phuket

Tucked away within the Sirinat National Park, Nai Yang Beach is one of Phuket’s most tranquil coastal escapes. Located just south of the airport, it remains largely untouched compared to the island’s busier beaches. A wide bay framed by casuarina and pine trees, Nai Yang offers calm, shallow waters perfect for swimming during the high season, while the southern end features coral reefs ideal for snorkeling.
The area is also popular with locals on weekends, who come for picnics and sunset walks. Despite its proximity to the airport, Nai Yang retains a peaceful, village-like atmosphere with small resorts and beachside restaurants serving Thai seafood.
The southern end of Nai Yang Beach offers a more refined and tranquil experience. Here, a few luxury resorts blend seamlessly with the lush greenery of Sirinat National Park, creating a peaceful setting that still feels close to nature. The park’s protected area stretches along the coast, sheltering sea turtles during nesting season and preserving the pristine dune landscape. Just offshore lies Koh Pling, a small rocky island surrounded by clear waters and coral reefs — perfect for snorkeling or a short kayak trip from the beach when the tide is calm.
