Rawai Beach
A Genuine Local Beach in Phuket

Rawai Beach, located at the southern tip of Phuket, is more of a working beach than a swimming one. Lined with longtail boats and shaded by tall casuarina trees, it’s the island’s traditional fishermen’s harbor and a favorite spot for locals.
While swimming isn’t ideal due to the boats and shallow water, Rawai is a great place to enjoy authentic seafood at one of the many beachfront restaurants, or to rent a boat for a trip to Coral Island or the nearby small islets.
The lively atmosphere, local charm, and ocean views make it a pleasant place to relax and enjoy the south coast’s easygoing pace.
