Jungceylon Shopping Center

One of Phuket's Largest Shopping & Entertainment Malls

Jungceylon Shopping Center - One of Phuket's Largest Shopping & Entertainment Malls

Jungceylon Shopping Center is one of the largest and most popular shopping and entertainment complexes in Phuket, right in the heart of Patong.

Located on Rat-U-Thit 200 Pee Road, just a few minutes' walk from Patong Beach and directly opposite Bangla Road, it is an easy place to combine shopping, dining and entertainment during a day in Patong.

Jungceylon is much more than a conventional shopping mall, with spacious open areas, landscaped sections and four themed zones offering quite different atmospheres. Inside, you will find international and Thai fashion brands, department stores, restaurants, cafés, a large supermarket, entertainment venues, beauty and wellness services and plenty of places to simply relax. It is also a useful escape from Patong's heat and occasional rain.

The 4 Zones of Jungceylon

Jungceylon is divided into four connected zones, each with its own atmosphere and selection of shops and attractions. The Jungle is the tropical-themed area along Rat-u-thit Road (aka Patong Sai 2 Road), combining fashion, lifestyle shops, food outlets, Thai massage and wellness services. The Bay is the lively central area, recognisable by its huge Chinese junk boat and open spaces used for shows, events and exhibitions.

The Botanica has a brighter, more modern atmosphere and is home to major retailers including Robinson and Big C, as well as fashion, beauty, technology and family entertainment. Finally, The Garden has a more relaxed character, with attractive Sino-Portuguese-inspired architecture and a concentration of restaurants and cafés. The four zones are connected, so exploring them is part of the Jungceylon experience rather than something you need to plan separately.

Shopping, Dining & Entertainment

Shopping is obviously one of Jungceylon's main attractions, with a wide mixture of international brands, Thai designers, sportswear, beauty products, electronics, souvenirs and everyday essentials. Robinson Department Store and Big C provide a particularly broad range of products, while the individual boutiques offer everything from fashion and accessories to Thai wellness and lifestyle products.

There is also plenty to eat, ranging from inexpensive Thai and international food to cafés and more sophisticated restaurants. The basement Food Bazaar is a convenient choice for a quick and affordable meal, while The Garden has several sit-down restaurants.

When you want a break from shopping, Jungceylon also offers entertainment including SF Cinema, children's attractions and other leisure activities, while The Bay regularly hosts events and performances.

Things to Know About Jungceylon Shopping Center

Jungceylon is large, so don't expect to see everything in a quick visit. The complex is fully air-conditioned in its main shopping areas, although several sections are open or semi-open, giving the mall a more relaxed resort atmosphere. Most of the shopping areas are currently open daily from 11am to 10pm, while Big C opens earlier and stays open later.

The mall is particularly convenient if you are staying in central Patong, as it is within easy walking distance of both the beach and Bangla Road. There are also tourist services, free Wi-Fi and plenty of parking. If you are visiting Patong on a rainy day, Jungceylon is one of the easiest places to spend several hours without being stuck in your hotel. Allow extra time if you want to explore the four zones properly.
