Hard Rock Cafe Phuket
Rock 'n' Roll, Live Music & American Comfort Food in Patong

Hard Rock Cafe Phuket brings the unmistakable rock 'n' roll atmosphere of the international Hard Rock brand to the heart of Patong.
Located on Ruamjai Road, just a short walk from the beach and opposite the OTOP area, it occupies a two-level venue combining a restaurant, bar, outdoor seating and the Rock Shop. Since opening in November 2009, it has become a familiar destination for visitors looking for American food, cocktails, rock memorabilia and live music.
Whether you come for dinner, drinks, a concert or simply to browse the impressive collection of rock 'n' roll memorabilia, Hard Rock Cafe offers something rather different from the typical Patong nightlife experience.

Decor and Atmosphere
Rock memorabilia is everywhere at Hard Rock Cafe Phuket, creating the kind of environment that fans of music history will immediately appreciate.
The two-level venue combines air-conditioned indoor dining areas with an outdoor patio, where you can enjoy your meal and drinks while listening to the live music. Guitars, costumes and other instruments associated with famous stars are displayed throughout the restaurant, with pieces from Hard Rock's international collection adding plenty of visual interest.
The giant guitar outside has also become a recognizable landmark on Ruamjai Road. Before leaving, don't forget to visit the Rock Shop, where you can buy Phuket-branded T-shirts, jackets, pins and other Hard Rock merchandise.

What to Eat & Drink at Hard Rock Cafe Phuket
The menu at Hard Rock Cafe Phuket focuses on the American comfort food for which the brand is famous. Its Legendary Burgers are among the main attractions, while the menu also includes smoked ribs, chicken, sandwiches, nachos, salads and other substantial dishes. The restaurant has its own hardwood smoker, used to prepare ribs, chicken and pork, adding a barbecue element to the menu.
For drinks, you can choose from a wide selection of beers, cocktails, spirits and other beverages, including classic Hard Rock creations and local Thai-inspired cocktails. Portions are generous, and the menu makes the venue suitable for a casual lunch as well as dinner before settling in for an evening of live music.

Live Music
Live music is at the heart of the Hard Rock Cafe experience, with performances regularly taking place in the venue. The current programme features February Cherry, the house band, with tribute nights from Tuesday to Friday and additional live sessions on Monday and Saturday.
The cafe also occasionally hosts special concerts featuring international and well-known Thai artists, so the programme can be quite different from a regular evening.
I have a personal connection with the venue too: in 2012, I played there as the bassist of my Phuket-based metal band Kilgora, when we launched our first album, Welcome to the Black Void. Our concert was later covered by the Phuket Gazette, which described the band and the album's distinctive "Mango Metal" sound.
