Central Patong
A Classy Department Store in the Centre of Patong

Central Patong is a modern department store and shopping centre in the heart of Patong, conveniently located on Rat-U-Thit 200 Pee Road, just opposite Jungceylon and a short walk from Bangla Road and Patong Beach.
Opened in 2019, it is one of the newer shopping destinations in Patong and offers a more compact experience than the much larger Jungceylon. The six-storey building combines fashion, beauty, sports, children's products, groceries, restaurants and cafés under one roof, making it a useful place to escape the heat while doing some shopping.
There is also a rooftop entertainment area, including an electric go-kart track, which gives Central Patong an unexpected attraction beyond its department-store shopping.

What to Buy at Central Patong
Central Patong is particularly convenient if you are looking for international brands, fashion, cosmetics and everyday products rather than souvenirs or traditional Thai handicrafts. The lower retail floors focus on beauty products, perfumes, jewellery and accessories, with brands including CHANEL, Estée Lauder, Lancôme, Shiseido and Bvlgari.
The fashion departments cover both women's and men's clothing, with a selection of Thai and international brands, while the sports section includes popular names such as Nike, Adidas, New Balance, FILA, VANS and Crocs.
You will also find children's clothing and toys, luggage, shoes and lifestyle products. In the basement, Central Food Hall is useful for groceries, imported products and fresh food. The range changes over time, but Central Patong is a good option for quality brands and practical shopping in central Patong.

What to Eat at Central Patong
Food is another reason to visit Central Patong, with most of the dining options concentrated in the basement. Central Food Hall combines a supermarket with prepared food and casual dining, making it a convenient place for a quick and reasonably priced meal.
Around the food area, you will also find several full-service restaurants offering Thai and international cuisine. Current options include MK Gold, Zen Restaurant and Prime Burger, while other cafés and food outlets provide choices for coffee, desserts and lighter meals.
The selection is useful rather than enormous, so Central Patong is better suited to a convenient lunch or dinner than to a dedicated food outing. If you are shopping in the department store, however, having a good selection of food downstairs is particularly handy.

Things to Know
Central Patong is considerably smaller and more straightforward to navigate than Jungceylon, which is directly across the road, making the two easy to combine in the same outing. One of its more unusual features is the rooftop electric go-kart track, an outdoor attraction that offers something quite different from the shopping floors below. The rooftop also has children's activities such as Digger Land, so it can be worth visiting even if you are not particularly interested in shopping.
Don't expect a rooftop viewpoint, though—the main reason to go upstairs is the entertainment rather than the views. Central Patong also has underground parking and services aimed at international visitors, including currency exchange. Its central location makes it especially convenient when you are already exploring Bangla Road, Jungceylon or Patong Beach.
